Every page that ranks for this question says agencies charge "10% to 20% of ad spend" and names no agency that does. We checked 41 Amazon PPC agencies and 16 software tools on October 22, 2026. Thirteen of the 41 publish a price (twelve a management fee, one only an audit fee), two publish a percentage of spend, and the published flat fees run $499 to $12,000 a month. Here is every number, the math at three spend levels, and who was selling what when they wrote the ranges you have read elsewhere.
Short answer
Published Amazon PPC management fees in October 2026: flat monthly from $499 (Shopkeeper, eStore Factory) through $900 (Sequence Commerce, SellerMetrics), $975 (WebFX, up to $5,000 in spend), $995 (Evolve Media Agency, up to $10,000 in spend; $1,995 up to $50,000), $2,000 (Olifant), $2,500 (Clear Ads) and $5,000 (Lab 916). Only two agencies print a percentage of spend: Clear Ads at 7% (or $2,500, whichever is more) and WebFX at 10% to 15% on its higher tiers. Kenji ROI publishes a hybrid ($495 or $995 base, or 5% of revenue growth). Twenty-eight of 41 quote. Software publishes almost everywhere: Teikametrics $149 a month up to $10,000 in spend (custom tiers above that add 3% of spend over $10,000), Helium 10 Ads $279 (yearly plan) plus 2% of managed spend, Ad Badger $275 to $1,830, Perpetua $695 plus an undisclosed percentage. Amazon itself publishes no average cost per click and charges no fee to use Sponsored ads.

On October 22, 2026, we loaded the PPC service or pricing page of 41 Amazon advertising agencies and the pricing page of 16 PPC software tools. For each agency we recorded the pricing model (flat monthly, percentage of ad spend, percentage of sales, hybrid, hourly, per ASIN), the exact published figure, the minimum ad spend or revenue, setup or audit fees, the contract term and cancellation, and whether ad spend is billed by Amazon or passes through the agency. Where an agency publishes nothing, the entry says quote only and gives the Clutch minimum project size if the agency reports one there. Clutch's hourly bands ($100 to $199 for most) are directory fields the agencies fill in, not fees, and we treat them that way.
Two findings shape the page. First, the "10% to 20% of spend" figure that appears on nearly every roundup is not published by any agency we could find; it is agencies quoting each other. The only two verifiable percentages sit under it (7% at Clear Ads) or straddle it (10% to 15% at WebFX). Second, four agencies contradict themselves across their own pages: AMZ Dudes prices three tiers on a blog post and shows quote-only on its homepage; BuyBoxr publishes $799 and $1,499 plans on a satellite page while its main site sells virtual-assistant plans; Clear Ads says "monthly or 7%" in one place and "7% or a minimum of $2,500" in another; Kenji ROI states a $1,000 minimum on its PPC page and $5,000 on its homepage.
Sequence Commerce from $900; SellerMetrics from $900 (scales by ASIN); eStore Factory $499 / $999 / $1,833 by spend tier on a three-month contract; Shopkeeper from $499 (PPC) and $999 (full agency); Lab 916 from $5,000 (sprint from $1,500); SellerApp from 750 (currency not stated); Olifant from $2,000; BuyBoxr $799 / $1,499 (satellite page only); AMZ Dudes $1,500 / $2,500 / $4,500 (blog only). Ours, $995 and $1,995, is in the table but is not one of the 41.
WebFX: $975 a month up to $5,000 in spend, then the greater of $975 or 15% ($5,001 to $30,000), $4,500 or 12% (to $100,000), $12,000 or 10% above. Clear Ads: from $2,500 a month or 7% of spend; DSP (Amazon's display ad platform) $2,500 plus 10% or $850 plus 8%.
My Amazon Guy: advertising audit from $500 per marketplace; management unpriced; pricing page returns 404.
Kenji ROI: $495 (Essential) or $995 (Growth) base a month, or 5% of revenue growth; $1,000 minimum ad spend on the PPC page.
Canopy and Nuanced Media (pages named /pricing/ with no prices), AmpliSell, SalesDuo, Trivium, eCommerce Nurse, Blue Wheel, Envision Horizons (annual), Ad Advance, Marketplace Valet, Thrive (form bands from $2,500), Amazon Growth Lab, Junglr, AMZ Pathfinder (free audit), Profit Whales, Awesome Dynamic, JumpFly, NUOPTIMA, Emplicit, Seller Interactive, AMZ One Step, SupplyKick, Darkroom, Incrementum, BellaVix, Tinuiti, Logical Position, ALFI.
The arithmetic below uses published figures only and is labeled as examples. The fee is the agency's; ad spend is billed by Amazon on top at every agency that says how it bills, and two say so explicitly (Evolve, BuyBoxr); Sequence promises no spend markup.
The lowest published floors are $499 (Shopkeeper, eStore Factory) and the lowest published minimum spend is $1,000 (Kenji ROI, Evolve). A $499 fee on $800 of spend is 62% of spend. Run Sponsored Products yourself with software at $149 to $275 a month.
At $5,000 in spend, $995 is 20% and $2,500 is 50%. Those ratios only make sense if the agency also fixes the listing or the launch; otherwise buy software and a one-time audit ($199 at Shopkeeper, $500 at My Amazon Guy, $995 with a restructure at Evolve).
No agency we found publishes its percentage except Clear Ads and WebFX. A percentage that lives only in a proposal is a percentage that can change. Get the number, the floor and the definition of spend on paper.
Every dollar of PPC lands on the page you have. If the main image, bullets, price or reviews are weak, the first dollar belongs to the listing. Ours is a $495 rewrite or a free audit; the agency fee comes after.
Two agencies here say in writing that spend is billed by Amazon. A fee that "includes media" is where a hidden markup lives. Ask for the Amazon invoice.
Then the flat fees on this page, including ours, are too small to buy the attention you need, and the percentage model starts to make sense. Ask Clear Ads, WebFX and the quote-only agencies for the percentage and the team behind it.
Flat, percentage of spend, percentage of sales, or hybrid. Twelve of 41 publish a management fee; make the rest write it down.
Sponsored Products only, or DSP too? Gross or net of refunds? The only published answers are 7% (Clear Ads) and 10% to 15% (WebFX).
Kenji ROI and Evolve publish $1,000 a month. An agency with no floor will take an account it cannot help.
A flat fee buys hours. Ours is 10 at $995; most agencies will not say. Ask whose hours and how many accounts they carry.
Through the agency is where markups hide. Evolve and BuyBoxr say Amazon bills it; Sequence promises no markup.
Published: eStore Factory three months; SellerMetrics three months then monthly; Lab 916 three months then 30-day rolling; Olifant publishes a 60-day money-back guarantee but no term; Evolve month to month. Most publish nothing.
