[02] Why a Dedicated PPC Page

Percentage-of-Spend Pricing Pays the Agency to Spend More

Most Amazon PPC agencies charge 10 to 20% of ad spend. Their revenue goes up when your budget goes up, whether or not your profit does. We charge for hours because the incentive should point at your margin, not your invoice.

ACoS is the wrong scoreboard

A 25% ACoS can be a loss on a 30% margin product and a bargain on a 60% margin product. We manage to total advertising cost of sale (TACoS) and contribution margin per SKU, which means we need your cost of goods on day one.

Campaign sprawl hides waste

Hundreds of campaigns built by three previous managers, with the same keyword bidding against itself in auto, broad, and exact. The audit finds the overlap; the restructure collapses it.

Ads cannot fix a listing

If click-through or conversion is below category, PPC buys traffic to a page that loses. We say so on the audit and point you at the main image or A+ first, because that is where the money is. Guide: Amazon PPC strategy.

Automation without judgment

Bid tools are good at bids and bad at deciding what a product is for. We use software for the daily bid moves and a person for structure, search-term decisions, and budget. The split is in AI for Amazon PPC vs humans.

[03] What We Do

Audit, Structure, Bidding, Reporting

1

Audit

Every campaign, ad group, and search term for the last 90 days, matched to SKU-level margin. Output: wasted spend by cause (overlap, irrelevant terms, losing placements, under-bid winners), a keyword map assigning each term to one campaign, and a restructure plan. Delivered as a document you keep whether or not you continue.

2

Structure

One campaign per intent: exact match on the terms you must win, phrase and broad for discovery, auto for harvesting, Sponsored Brands for category terms, Sponsored Display for retargeting. Negatives everywhere from day one so the same term never runs in two places. Framework: Sponsored Display vs Brands vs DSP.

3

Bidding and budget

Bids set from target ACoS per SKU derived from your margin, adjusted weekly (daily during launches and Prime events). Placement modifiers, dayparting where the data supports it, and budget moved toward what is converting. Search-term harvesting every week: winners promoted to exact, losers negated.

4

Reporting

A weekly one-page report: spend, sales, ACoS, TACoS, organic rank on your priority terms, and what changed. A monthly review call. If a number went the wrong way, the report says why and what we did about it.

5

Creative

Sponsored Brands and Display need images and video. Sponsored Brands video from $395 and listing images from $295 on the pricing page, cut for the placement. Ad accounts with strong creative outperform structure tweaks; we will tell you when that is the lever.

Flat Fees at $100 an Hour

Management is month to month, billed upfront, cancel any month. Ad spend is billed by Amazon to your account and never marked up. We ask for a $1,000 monthly minimum ad spend so there is enough data to manage, the same rule as our ads management page.

When You Should Not Hire a PPC Agency

Disclosure: this page sells ad management. The structure and bidding method is free in the PPC strategy guide.

You spend under $1,000 a month

A $995 fee on $800 of spend is a bad ratio for you. Run a tight Sponsored Products account yourself from the guide, and come back when spend justifies a manager.

Your listing converts below category

Fix images, A+, price, and reviews first. The audit will say this if it is true, and we would rather sell you a photo package than manage ads into a page that loses.

You want someone in the console every hour

Ten hours a month is weekly management with daily attention during events. Accounts that need a full-time analyst should hire one; we will help you write the job description.

You want a guaranteed ACoS

ACoS depends on your category, competition, margin, and listing. Anyone guaranteeing a number is either setting it high enough to be meaningless or planning to cut spend to hit it.

[06] FAQ

Amazon PPC Management Questions

How much does Amazon PPC management cost?
With us: $995 for a one-time audit and restructure, $995 a month for management up to $10,000 in monthly spend, or $1,995 a month for accounts up to $50,000. Above that we quote by hours. Most agencies charge 10 to 20% of ad spend instead; on $10,000 of spend that is $1,000 to $2,000 a month, and the fee rises with your budget.
Do you take a percentage of ad spend?
No. Flat monthly fees for a defined number of hours. Ad spend is billed by Amazon to your card and never touches our invoice.
What do you need from me to start?
Ad console access, Seller Central access for reports, your cost of goods per SKU, and a 30-minute call to agree on which products and terms matter most. The audit starts when those arrive.
What is the minimum ad spend?
$1,000 a month. Below that there is not enough data to make weekly decisions, and our fee is too large a share of the total.
Do you manage Sponsored Brands video and Display too?
Yes. Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands (including video), and Sponsored Display are all in scope. DSP is in the Plus tier where the account size supports it; see Amazon DSP for $1M brands for when it makes sense.
How do you report?
A weekly one-page report with spend, sales, ACoS, TACoS, organic rank on priority terms, and what changed, plus a monthly review call. You also keep full access to the ad console; nothing runs through our account.
Will you use bid automation software?
For daily bid adjustments, yes, because software does that better than a person. Structure, search-term decisions, negatives, budget allocation, and creative are done by a person. If you already pay for a tool, we will work inside it.
What is the difference between this and your ads management page?
The ads management page covers Amazon plus Meta, Google, and TikTok ads together. This page is Amazon only, with the Amazon-specific audit, structure, and pricing.
