[02] Why Supplements Are Different

The Best Copywriter in the World Can Still Get Your Listing Suppressed

In most categories, weak copy costs conversion. In supplements, the wrong sentence costs the listing, and sometimes the account. Everything we make for supplement brands is checked against three rule sets before you see it.

FDA: structure/function, not disease

"Supports immune function" is a structure/function claim. "Prevents colds" is a disease claim that turns a supplement into an unapproved drug. Every headline, bullet, image caption, and video line is written on the right side of that line, with the disclaimer where the rule requires it.

Amazon: category rules on top of the law

Amazon requires documentation for supplements (certificates of analysis, GMP evidence, label images that match the product) and suppresses listings for prohibited words, unverified "clinically proven" language, and images that imply medical outcomes. A rejected A+ module or a suppressed ASIN during a launch is the most expensive week a supplement brand can have. Background: account health and suspension prevention.

Advertising and creators: the same rules, less control

Sponsored Brands video, TikTok Shop creators, and UGC scripts carry the same claim exposure with less review. Our creator briefs and scripts include the banned-phrase list for your product so a creator cannot accidentally make a drug claim on your behalf.

Reviews and retention: the growth lever with a rulebook

Supplements live on repeat purchase. Subscribe and Save, review requests, and post-purchase email are the levers, and each has Amazon or FTC rules around incentives and testimonials. Playbook: the supplements brand playbook.

[03] What We Do for Supplement Brands

The Full Stack, With the Claim Check on Every Piece

1

Compliance-aware creative: photos, infographics, A+

Supplement images sell on ingredients, dosage, certifications you actually hold, and the person who takes it. We design infographic images and A+ modules around those, keep claims to structure/function language, and never imply outcomes with before-and-after imagery. Graphic design $295 to $595, photography from $295 on the pricing page. Specifics on the A+ Content guide.

2

Listing copy that ranks without tripping the filter

Titles, bullets, and backend terms built from real keyword data, written inside claim rules, with the prohibited-word list for your category checked before submission. $495 per listing via the listing optimization service.

3

Launch: documentation first, then traffic

Supplement launches fail on paperwork. Our launch roadmap for supplements starts with the documentation Amazon asks for, then Vine timing, then PPC. Launch Roadmap $995, Full Launch Package $2,495.

4

Video and UGC with a banned-phrase list

Product video from $395 and UGC review video at $495, scripted with a per-product list of words and claims the presenter may not say, and captions reviewed for the same. Amazon rejects video for claims in audio as well as on screen.

5

PPC and retention

Amazon PPC management at $995 a month, structured around your hero SKUs and Subscribe and Save economics. Email flows built for reorder timing in the email marketing service. Method in the Subscribe and Save playbook.

6

AI search: being the brand assistants recommend for "best X for Y"

Supplement questions are exactly what people ask ChatGPT and Perplexity. Crawler access, schema, entity signals, and content that answers ingredient and dosage questions factually, from $495 for an audit. See AI search optimization services.

[04] Supplement Clients

In Their Words, Not Ours

Two supplement brands we have worked with, quoted exactly as they gave it to us. Any figure in a quote is the client's statement.

Brett Peterson, Liquid Health

"Evolve Media is the gold standard for brands looking to grow. We’ve seen a conversion increase of between 12 to 20 percent. The only thing we did was use Evolve Media. Otherwise, you’re leaving money on the table."

Daniel Tan, Purely Optimal

"Evolve Media helped us share the purity and quality of our ingredients in an authentic way that resonates with our health-conscious customers. You won’t regret working with them."

What we do not claim

We do not publish average lifts across supplement clients, because the accounts differ too much for an average to mean anything, and we cannot isolate our work from everything else a brand changed. Named quotes and the case studies are the evidence we can stand behind.

[05] Read This Before You Book

When You Should Not Hire Us

Disclosure: this page packages services we sell for one industry. The compliance and retention playbook is free in the supplements brand playbook.

Your product does not have its paperwork

No certificate of analysis, no GMP documentation, a label that does not match the formula. No amount of creative fixes that, and Amazon will ask. Get the documentation first; we will tell you what is missing on the call.

You want claims we will not write

If the brief needs "cures," "treats," "clinically proven" without the study, or before-and-after outcome imagery, we are the wrong agency and we will say so before taking money.

You need regulatory counsel

We write inside the rules as they are published and check against Amazon's category requirements. We are not lawyers and this is not legal review. Novel ingredients, drug-adjacent positioning, and international labeling need an attorney, and we will work with yours.

Your margin cannot fund a launch

Supplements are a launch-heavy category: Vine units, PPC, and samples for creators. If the landed cost and price do not leave room, the roadmap math will show it and the honest advice is to fix the product economics first.

[06] FAQ

Supplement Brand Marketing Questions

Do you charge more for supplement brands?
No. Same prices as the pricing page. The claim check is part of how we work, not a line item. Regulatory legal review, if you need it, is separate and not something we provide.
What claims can a supplement make on Amazon?
Structure/function claims about normal body function ("supports," "helps maintain") with the required disclaimer, ingredient facts, and certifications you hold. Not disease claims, not treatment or prevention language, not "clinically proven" without the study behind it. Amazon adds its own prohibited-word list per category.
Can you handle the documentation Amazon asks for?
We tell you exactly what Amazon is asking for and how to present it, and we build the listing to match your label. The documents themselves (certificates of analysis, GMP records) come from your manufacturer; we cannot create them.
Do you work with CBD, peptides, or other restricted products?
Restricted and gated categories are quoted case by case, and some we decline. Bring the product to the call and we will tell you where it stands on Amazon and on the ad platforms before you spend anything.
How do you handle creators and UGC for supplements?
Every brief and script includes the banned-phrase list for the product and the disclosure language the platform requires. Presenters read from a script that has already passed the claim check, and captions are reviewed the same way.
What about Subscribe and Save and retention?
Reorder is the business model. We set up Subscribe and Save economics, review requests inside Amazon's rules, and email flows timed to the reorder window. The playbook linked above covers the math.
Can supplements get recommended by AI assistants?
Yes, and they are one of the most-asked product categories. Assistants favor brands with clear ingredient information, third-party certifications, structured data, and content that answers dosage and comparison questions factually. Claim-heavy sites do worse. The AI search services start with a $495 audit.
