Rates are Amazon's US 2026 non-peak fulfillment fees by price band, from Seller Central's 2026 fee change pages as compiled by AMZBase and Warehousing Costs, verified September 15, 2026. Third-party fee tables disagree on a few cells and Amazon changes the card at least once a year, so edit any value below to match your Fee Preview report. Storage: $ per cubic foot standard off-peak, $ peak; oversize $ / $. Surcharge %. Referral minimum $.

Large standard fulfillment fees for the $10 to $50 band ($, by weight band up to 3 lb, then base + per-4-oz increment):

Small standard, $10 to $50 band (2 oz bands to 16 oz):

Bulky and extra-large bases for the $10 to $50 band (small bulky, large bulky, XL 0-50, XL 50-70, XL 70-150, XL 150+ | per-lb increments):

Price-band offsets applied to the $10 to $50 rates: under $10, standard (small standard uses the published under-$10 card); bulky/XL . Over $50, standard ; bulky/XL 0.00.

[02] How the Math Works

What the Calculator Actually Does

1. Size tier from your packaged dimensions

Sorted longest to shortest and checked against Amazon's 2026 US tiers: small standard (15 x 12 x 0.75 in, 16 oz), large standard (18 x 14 x 8 in, 20 lb), small bulky (37 x 28 x 20 in, 130 in length plus girth, 50 lb), large bulky (59 x 33 x 33 in), then extra-large by weight. A tenth of an inch moves products between cards, which is why the tool shows the tier.

2. Shipping weight

The greater of unit weight and dimensional weight (L x W x H / 139), except small standard, which uses unit weight only. Bulky and extra-large units assume a minimum width and height of 2 inches for the dimensional calculation.

3. Fulfillment fee by price band

Amazon publishes three columns: under $10 (Low-Price FBA), $10 to $50, and over $50. The tool picks the column from your price. Items at exactly $10 or $50 fall in the middle band. The 3.5% fuel and logistics surcharge added April 17, 2026 is applied on top when the box is checked.

4. Referral fee

Your percentage of the selling price with Amazon's $0.30 minimum. Most categories are 15%; the tool defaults there and you edit it. Category rates and price-band exceptions are in Seller Central's referral fee schedule.

5. Storage

Cubic feet from your dimensions times months in storage times the monthly rate ($0.78 standard, $0.56 oversize; $2.40 and $1.40 in October to December). The storage utilization surcharge and aged-inventory surcharge are not modeled; if your stock sits past 181 days those add up fast.

6. Net profit, margin, ROI, breakeven

Price minus every fee, landed cost, ad spend at your ACoS, a returns allowance, and other per-unit costs. Breakeven is the price where net profit reaches zero at your current inputs, solved by iteration because fees move with price.

What this tool does not model: apparel and dangerous goods rate cards, holiday peak fulfillment fees (October 15 to January 14), inbound placement fees, the low-inventory-level fee, the storage utilization surcharge, aged inventory surcharges, returns processing fees, Overmax handling, or Multi-Channel Fulfillment. The full FBA fee breakdown explains each of them.

FBA Fee Calculator Questions

Is this calculator accurate?
It uses Amazon's published 2026 US non-peak rate card by size tier and price band, verified September 15, 2026, and it shows its work. Two caveats: third-party fee tables disagree on a few cells, and Amazon re-measures products in the fulfillment center, so your billed tier can differ from your catalog dimensions. Treat the output as a planning number and confirm in Amazon's Revenue Calculator or your Fee Preview report.
Why is my fee different in Seller Central?
Usually one of four things: Amazon measured your package larger than you did, your category referral fee is not 15%, your product is apparel or a dangerous good (separate rate cards), or peak season rates are in effect. Open the advanced panel and edit the rate to match your report.
What is dimensional weight?
Length times width times height in inches divided by 139, giving a weight in pounds. Amazon bills whichever is greater, the scale weight or the dimensional weight, for every tier except small standard and extra-large over 150 lb. A light but boxy product pays as if it were heavy.
Does it include the holiday peak fee?
No. From October 15 to January 14 Amazon charges higher fulfillment fees per tier. The storage checkbox switches to the October to December storage rate; fulfillment stays at the non-peak card. Add the difference from your Fee Preview report to "other per-unit costs" if you are planning Q4 inventory.
What referral fee should I use?
15% for most categories. Common exceptions: consumer electronics 8%, and beauty, grocery, and health and personal care at 8% when the price is $10 or under. Amazon's referral fee schedule in Seller Central lists every category and price-band rule.
Does the calculator send my data anywhere?
No. Everything runs in your browser. Nothing is stored or transmitted. The print button uses your browser's print dialog, which can save a PDF.
What margin should I aim for?
Depends on the category and how you acquire customers, but a product that cannot clear roughly 20 to 30% net after ads is hard to scale, because launch costs, returns, and fee increases eat the rest. The contribution margin playbook walks through the decision.
