We open the shop, load the catalog, build the creator program, script the LIVE shows, and run GMV Max. Fixed hour blocks at $100 an hour, and we run our own family personal-care brand on TikTok Shop, so the advice comes from a Seller Center we log into every day.

It is a volume channel with creator commissions, shipping SLAs, and platform fees stacked on top of your cost of goods. It works for a specific kind of brand.
Consumable or giftable products under about $60, gross margin that survives a creator commission plus platform fees, stock on hand, and someone willing to be on camera or a budget for creators who will.
Higher-ticket products, thin margins, or a category with heavy content restrictions (supplements and skincare claims get flagged fast). It can work, but the creator program and compliance prep matter more than the ads.
Pre-launch with no product on hand, no reviews anywhere, and no video. Start with the free TikTok Shop launch guide and come back with inventory and a first batch of content.
Account and business verification, up to 5 product listings written for TikTok's shorter mobile page, shipping templates and returns settings, category and content compliance review before you get your first violation instead of after, and the affiliate program opened with a starting commission. If you sell on Shopify, we set up the product sync and check the SKU mapping, because a mismatch there will zero out your TikTok inventory overnight. We learned that one on our own shop.
A target list of creators in your category, outreach and follow-up templates, a sample-approval scorecard so you stop mailing free product to accounts that never post, and the first 50 invites sent from your account. Method published free in the creator affiliate guide and the collaborations guide.
A run-of-show template, the offer ladder, which products to pin and when, a host brief for whoever is on camera, and one coached session where we are in the chat with you. LIVE works when it is a weekly show, not a one-time stream.
GMV Max is TikTok Shop's automated campaign type. It hides most of the levers, so the work is choosing the right products, setting the ROI target, feeding it enough creator and brand video, and reading the reports for what it is quietly spending on. Monthly management, cancel any month. See our affiliate vs whitelisting vs Spark Ads breakdown.
Product videos, UGC-style review videos, and listing images from our studio, priced on the pricing page: video from $395, UGC review video $495, photos from $295. Everything we shoot is cut for TikTok's vertical feed first and reused for Amazon and Shopify.
TikTok search and its AI features surface products from listing copy and video captions, not just the feed. We write for that. Background in the TikTok AI search guide.
Bear Basics is our family personal-care brand: unscented tallow and coconut-oil deodorant, lip balm, lotion bars, and soap, sold on TikTok Shop, Amazon, and Shopify. Everything on this page has been tested there first, including the mistakes.
We connected the Shopify catalog to TikTok Shop and hit the SKU-mismatch problem that silently zeroes inventory. The fix is a SKU audit before the first sync, which is now step one of every launch we run.
Personal-care claims get flagged. We have had listings and videos restricted, appealed them, and rewritten copy to pass. That review is built into the Launch block so clients skip the appeal cycle.
Our on-camera host's personal account is bound to the shop as a Marketing Creator, posting several product videos a week toward the follower threshold that unlocks the affiliate marketplace. We know the creator side of the program because we live on it.
Lost login methods, phone-number verification, and staff access on a TikTok Shop account are a real operational risk. Our setup checklist locks these down on day one.
Payment is 100% upfront, typical timeline is 3 to 5 weeks per block, and hours are tracked and summarized at the end. Content is priced separately on the pricing page.

Between creator commission, platform fees, shipping, and samples, a product needs real gross margin to be profitable here. If the math is tight on Amazon, it will be worse on TikTok Shop. Run the numbers first; the launch guide walks through them.
Agencies can shoot product videos and recruit creators, but the shops that win usually have a founder or employee posting several times a week. If that is a hard no, the ceiling is lower and you should know that before paying anyone.
Our blocks are built to set things up and hand them to you, with the ads block as the only recurring piece. If you want a full-service operator taking a percentage of GMV, that is a different kind of agency.
TikTok Shop is usually the second or third channel, not the first. Reviews, photos, and a working listing on Amazon or Shopify make everything here faster. Start with how to launch a new product.
