Get Your Brand Recommended by ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity

We audit how AI assistants currently describe your brand, then fix the crawl access, schema, entity signals, and content they need to cite you. Priced as fixed work blocks, not retainers, and proven on our own site first.

[02] The Problem

Shoppers Ask an Assistant. It Names Three Brands.

When someone asks ChatGPT for the best magnesium supplement or asks Perplexity which Amazon agency to hire, the answer is a short list. Either your brand is on it or a competitor's is.

Your site may be blocking the crawlers

Cloudflare bot settings, a hosting firewall, or a copied robots.txt can block GPTBot, ClaudeBot, and PerplexityBot without anyone noticing. If they cannot read the page, they cannot cite it. See the 2026 AI crawler list.

Assistants cannot tell what your brand is

No Organization schema, inconsistent names across directories, no Wikidata entry, and a homepage that never says what you sell in plain words. The model fills the gap with a guess, or with a competitor.

Your content answers nothing directly

Assistants quote pages that answer a specific question in the first screen, with a number, a definition, or a comparison. Most brand sites are built for browsing, not for being quoted.

You cannot see the traffic you already get

GA4 files most AI referrals under Referral or (not set). On our own site the AI channel showed 409 sessions when the real total was about 670. Nobody invests in a channel they cannot measure.

[03] What We Do

Five Layers, In Order

Every engagement runs the same sequence, because each layer only works once the one before it is in place.

1

Audit: how the assistants see you today

We run 50 buying-intent prompts across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity, record every mention and citation, and check crawler access, robots.txt, llms.txt, and schema. You get a report with a ranked fix list. The method is public in our AI visibility audit guide.

2

Crawl access and technical foundation

Cloudflare and firewall rules that let the right bots through and stop scrapers, a correct robots.txt, an llms.txt and llms-full.txt, and a schema stack (Organization, Product, FAQPage, Article, BreadcrumbList) that validates. See the schema implementation guide.

3

Entity signals

One consistent brand name, description, founding date, and sameAs links across your site, Google Business Profile, LinkedIn, Wikidata, and the directories assistants read. Assistants recommend entities they can identify.

4

Content built to be quoted

Service pages and long-form guides with a quick answer in the first screen, stat bars, FAQ sections with FAQPage schema, and comparisons that name real alternatives. This is the same format that earns our own citations. Start with How to Rank on ChatGPT.

5

Tracking

A GA4 channel group that catches AI referrals hiding in Referral and (not set), a monthly citation check on your priority prompts, and a Looker Studio view so you can see whether it is working. Tools compared in our AI visibility tracking tools roundup.

[04] Proof: Our Own Site

We Ran This Playbook on evolveamz.com First

These are our GA4 numbers, pulled September 15, 2026. We publish them with the caveats, because the caveats are the part most agencies leave out.

Organic search: about 65 to 412 sessions a month

Google and Bing organic averaged roughly 65 sessions a month from October 2025 through March 2026. After the rebuild and the guide library, it averaged 412 a month from June through August 2026, peaking at 497 in July. The last 30 days were 383, up 385% on the same 30 days in 2025.

AI assistants: about 670 visits in 12 months

ChatGPT about 316, Claude about 173, Gemini about 103, Perplexity about 51, plus smaller sources. GA4's own AI Assistant channel only labeled 409 of them; the rest were filed under Referral or (not set), which is exactly the tracking gap in layer 5 above.

AI visitors read more than anyone else

In the last 30 days the AI channel had 126 sessions with a 48% engagement rate and 48 seconds of average engagement, against 21% and 7 seconds sitewide. AI was the only sizable channel still growing month over month, up 15%.

What we cannot claim

Our lead tracking was broken for this period (legacy key events from the old site), so we cannot say AI visitors convert to booked calls at a higher rate. About half of our raw traffic was bots, which is why we quote organic and AI sessions, not totals. Results on your site depend on your category, your competition, and how much of the fix list you actually ship.

[05] Packages and Prices

Fixed Hour Blocks at $100 an Hour

Every package is a defined block of hours with a defined deliverable list. Payment is 100% upfront, typical timeline is 3 to 5 weeks, and there is no monthly contract. Hours are tracked and summarized at the end.

When You Should Not Hire an AI Search Agency

Disclosure: this page sells a service. Everything on it is written by the people who get paid if you buy. That is why the section below exists, and why every method we use is published free in the AI Search Hub.

You have not fixed Google organic yet

Assistants lean heavily on pages that already rank and on sources that already trust you. If your site has no organic traffic and no reviews, AI search work is building the roof before the walls. Start with the basics; the What Is AI Search Optimization? guide explains the overlap.

You have a marketer with 10 hours a month

The audit method, the schema stack, the llms.txt format, and the crawler settings are all documented on this site for free. A competent in-house marketer can run Foundation-level work in a few weeks. We compared the math in in-house vs agency cost breakdown.

You want a guarantee

Nobody can promise a citation. Assistant answers change week to week, and the models weight sources differently. We show a before-and-after on your prompts and report what moved. If a vendor promises "page one on ChatGPT," ask how they plan to enforce that.

Your product is one SKU with no story

Assistants recommend brands with a clear category, a clear differentiator, and enough content to describe them. If that does not exist yet, the money is better spent on the product page, photography, and reviews first.

[07] FAQ

AI Search Optimization Questions

What is AI search optimization?
The work of getting a brand named and cited inside the answers that AI assistants give, including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, Google AI Overviews, and Amazon's Alexa for Shopping. It combines crawler access, structured data, entity consistency, and content written to be quoted. Some people call it GEO (generative engine optimization) or AEO (answer engine optimization). Full definition in the ecommerce AI search glossary.
How long does it take to see citations?
Technical fixes (crawler access, schema, llms.txt) show up in re-crawls within days to a few weeks. Content and entity work compounds over months. On our own site, AI referrals went from a trickle to about 670 visits over 12 months of publishing, and the channel was still growing at the end of that window. Expect a 3-to-6-month horizon for meaningful movement.
Do you guarantee my brand will show up in ChatGPT?
No, and you should be suspicious of anyone who does. We document where you appear before the work, ship the fix list, and re-run the same prompts after. What we can guarantee is that the crawlers can read your site, the schema validates, and the content answers the questions people actually ask.
How is this different from SEO?
Most of the foundation overlaps: crawlable site, clear entity, useful content. The differences are the crawlers you allow, the llms.txt file, quick-answer formatting, FAQPage schema everywhere, comparisons that name competitors, and tracking that catches referrals GA4 misfiles. Good SEO helps AI search; it does not replace this list.
What do I get at the end of a block?
A written summary of hours used and everything shipped, the before-and-after citation report on your prompts, and every file we created (schema, llms.txt, page copy, posts) living on your site under your login. Nothing is hosted on our side.
Do you work with Shopify, WordPress, and Amazon listings?
Yes. WordPress and Shopify sites get the full stack. Amazon listings get the on-listing version: title and bullet structure, A+ content, and Q&A written for Alexa for Shopping and the assistants that read Amazon pages.
What do you need from me to start?
Admin access to your site, Search Console and GA4 access, your Cloudflare or hosting login if crawler settings need changing, and a 30-minute call to agree on the 50 prompts we will track. The audit starts the day access arrives.
Can I do this myself?
Yes. Every method on this page is published free in the AI Search Hub and the audit guide. Hire us when the constraint is time, not information.
