[01] How We Work

Fixed Prices, Written Scope, Paid Upfront, Done in 3 to 5 Weeks

Everything about working with Evolve Media Agency that used to live only in proposals: how a project starts, what it costs, how you pay, what we need from you, how revisions work, and what you get at the end. Read it before you book so the call is about your brand, not our terms.

[02] The Process

Seven Steps, Same Every Time

1

A free 30-minute call

No pitch deck. We look at your listing, store, or shop live and say what we would fix first. Some calls end with "do this yourself, here is the guide." Book it on the booking page or use the contact page.

2

A written scope with a fixed price

Within a business day you get a proposal: exactly what is included, what is not, the timeline, and the price, with ACH and credit card totals shown separately. Package prices come from the pricing page; custom work is quoted in hour blocks at $100 an hour. The proposal expires two weeks after you receive it unless signed.

3

Payment, 100% upfront

Work starts when payment clears. ACH is the base price; credit card adds a 3.5% processing fee, rounded up, shown on the proposal so there are no surprises. No deposits, no net-30, no retainers.

4

Kickoff and access

A short kickoff call or email thread to collect what we need: logins, product samples, brand files, cost of goods, whatever the scope lists. The clock on the timeline starts when we have them.

5

Production

We do the work and send progress at natural checkpoints (a shot list approved before a shoot, a script before filming, a keyword map before copy). You hear from the person doing it, not an account manager.

6

Review and one revision round

You review the first delivery and send every change in one batch. We make them. That round is included. Further rounds, or changes to the scope, are billed at $100 an hour and agreed in writing before we start them.

7

Delivery and handover

Final files, live changes on your accounts, and for hour blocks a summary of hours used and everything shipped. Everything lives on your accounts under your logins. If there is a next step, we quote it; if there is not, we say so.

[03] The Terms

The Parts of the Proposal People Ask About

Pricing

Package prices are published on the pricing page and are the same for everyone. Custom or ongoing work is priced as blocks of hours at $100 an hour, tracked and summarized. Website builds are custom-quoted after the call.

Payment

100% upfront, before work starts. ACH is the listed price; credit card adds a 3.5% processing fee, rounded up to the nearest dollar. Monthly services (ads management, upkeep, the part-time expert) are billed upfront each month and can be cancelled before the next billing date.

Timelines

Three to five weeks for a project or block, starting when payment has cleared and we have access and materials. Platform approvals (Walmart, Amazon Brand Registry, TikTok verification, A+ review) run on the platform's clock and are outside the estimate.

Revisions

One round per deliverable, sent as a single batch. Additional rounds and scope changes are $100 an hour, quoted before we do them. Defects in our work (a rejected A+ module, a broken link, a spec miss) are fixed free; they are not revisions.

What is not included

Third-party costs are billed to you directly by the vendor: software, plugins, apps, hosting, domains, ad spend, Amazon and platform fees, Vine enrollment, product samples, and shipping. We never mark up a third-party cost.

Ownership

You own every deliverable on payment: files, copy, code, campaigns, and the accounts they live in. Photo and video come with a perpetual license for your brand's use; talent releases are signed before delivery.

Guarantees

We guarantee the deliverables, the timeline, and the fix of any defect in our work. We do not guarantee sales, rankings, review counts, ad results, or AI citations, and we will not sign a proposal that says we do.

Legal and regulatory

We write inside published platform and FDA rules and check against category requirements. We are not lawyers, and nothing we deliver is legal review. Novel claims, gated categories, and international labeling need your attorney; we will work with them.

[04] What We Need From You

The Checklist That Starts the Clock

The proposal lists exactly which of these apply. The timeline starts when they arrive.

01

Access: Seller Central or Vendor Central, Shopify admin, TikTok Shop Seller Center, ad consoles, GA4 and Search Console, WordPress, Cloudflare or hosting, and your email platform, as the scope requires. Staff-level access under your account; we never work from our own.

02

Product: physical samples shipped to our Colorado Springs studio for photo and video, and to talent for UGC. Enough units to cover the shot list and the creators.

03

Brand: logo files, fonts, colors, existing photography, and any brand guidelines. If none exist, say so and we work from the product.

04

Numbers: landed cost per unit, target price, ad budgets, and cost of goods for anything involving PPC, launch, or margin work. We cannot manage to profit without them.

05

Facts: certifications you actually hold, documentation Amazon may ask for, and the claims you can substantiate. We write from what you can prove.

06

One decision-maker: a single person who approves scripts, shot lists, copy, and the revision batch. Multiple reviewers with conflicting notes are the most common cause of a missed timeline.

[05] FAQ

Working With Us: Questions

Why 100% upfront?
Because we are a three-person team doing fixed-price work with a written scope. Upfront payment lets us price without a collections risk built in, and it means the project has a defined start. The tradeoff for you is the written scope, the published price, and the fact that we deliver in three to five weeks.
Can I pay by credit card?
Yes. ACH is the base price and credit card adds a 3.5% processing fee, rounded up, shown as a separate total on the proposal.
Do you require a contract or minimum term?
The proposal is the agreement: scope, price, timeline, and the terms on this page. No long-term contract. Monthly services are month to month and cancel by email before the next billing date.
What if I need more than one revision round?
Extra rounds and scope changes are $100 an hour, quoted before we start. Fixes to defects in our own work are free and are not counted as revisions.
Who will I actually work with?
Ian Smith, the founder, on strategy and most client communication, with the two other people on the team for production. There are no account managers; the person you email is the person doing the work. Read about Ian on the about page, and what clients say on the reviews page.
Can you start immediately?
Usually within a week of payment and access. If we are booked, the proposal says the start date before you sign.
What happens if the timeline slips?
If it is on us, we tell you as soon as we know and give the new date. If it is waiting on access, samples, or a platform approval, the clock pauses and we tell you what we are waiting on.
Do you work with brands outside the US?
Yes, for Amazon US, Shopify, and TikTok Shop US work. Product samples still have to reach Colorado for photo and video. Other marketplaces are quoted case by case.
